Kids Kitchen H.E.A.R.T. Fund

We are so excited to be kicking off the launch of the Kids Kitchen H.E.A.R.T. Fund and we wanted to share the news! The H.E.A.R.T. Fund (Healthy Eating Apprenticeship for Real Tables) will give back to the community by offering free & discounted cooking and nutrition services to kids & their families.

Mission Statement

Kids Kitchen H.E.A.R.T. Fund empowers youth from all backgrounds to eat and live healthy by teaching them how to cook nutritious meals for themselves and their families. Our programs are designed to educate and encourage youth and their families to prepare & cook their own meals, eat healthfully, and enjoy meals together around the dinner table. These programs include after-school cooking and nutrition classes, summer camps, and in-school presentations and demonstrations to all ages of children. Our program is funded with 5% of Kids Kitchen’s profits, in addition to non-taxable donations from community members and businesses.

How to apply

Individual applicants (children ages 3 & up) may apply for discounted Kids Kitchen classes & camps held at Kitchen House in Cedar Park. Schools (including Daycare & Afterschool Programs) may also request our cooking and nutrition education programs.
