This great snack can be a main-player in lunches. Buy in bulk. Pre-make individual servings and store for grab-n-go.
The ingredients are endless: (customize for your child, include them in the“preparation”)
Dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, apricots, etc.)
Nuts (peanuts, walnuts, almonds, cashews, etc.)
Cereal (Cheerios, Chex, Granola, Mini-Wheat’s, etc.)
And a few sweet treats if you wish: Mini – semi-sweet chocolate chips, M&M’s
