Everything bagels are well loved around the country. The “everything” seasoning is flavorful and complex, and while we love the taste, bagels can be such a chore to make at home. Bagel bites are a fun way to get a baked good with that punch of flavor while only using three ingredients! They are a good option for anyone needing gluten free snack recipes and can be enjoyed by all.
Yields 22-25 bagel bites
Ingredients
- 2 cups superfine, blanched almond flour, packed
- 1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt (thick like Greek is best)
- 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Add almond flour and yogurt to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine using a spatula to knead the dough for about a minute.
- Take about a tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball before rolling in everything bagel seasoning to coat. Dough will be sticky, like cookie dough, so handle as little and as lightly as possible using the palms of your hands. You may need to press lightly to get the seasoning to stick.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes. Let cool completely before serving or bagel bites will be crumbly.
Notes
Store extras in an air-tight bag or container on the counter for up to five days. If they get a little soft, you can freshen them up for a few minutes in the oven at 300 degrees.
