Always experimenting here in the kids kitchen.
If you did not know, kids may love a vegetable that has been roasted in the oven, but would not have liked it cooked any other way. Roasting can bring out the ‘sweetness’.
Tried oven baking broccoli, ear of corn, and sugar snap peas. I tossed all of it in olive oil and sprinkled with salt. I then roasted them just as I have done with potatoes, cauliflower, etc. for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Sugar Snap Peas – Fail.
Broccoli – turned out ok.
Ear of Corn – Failed due to time of cooking (requires the most cooking time than the rest of these veggies.)
What veggies do you oven bake?
