“Fried” Apple Pie Pancake
This week in Kids Kitchen we had a Pancake Party!
The kids were ecstatic when I told them what we were making.  They learned about each ingredient along the way as we added in into our batter.  Everyone stirred, poured, and mixed.
While the pancakes were cooking, we sliced our fruit for the faces.  Using a plastic lettuce knife, everyone cut their banana, strawberries, and grapes.
When it was all said and done – each face was unique and all the kids gobbled up their multi grain pancake with real maple syrup or honey!
Class was over and they walked out before they had tasted their apple pie pancake.  So, parents, please comment on this post and let us know what you and your child thought!!

Kids Kitchen Konnection: Making faces with fruit is always fun! Some kids like to eat the fruit first before diving into the pancake, and that’s OK too!
