Ranch dressing is pretty loved, particularly here in the south. While the store bought packets do make a good dressing, we wanted to come up with our own unique Kitchen House version of the herb and spice blend. It took a couple of years to perfect that umami balance we all know without the use of MSG. Comments from those who have tried our dressing claim it got their kids to eat more vegetables by using it as a dip! The seasoning blend itself can also be used to flavor chicken, vegetables, and even popcorn.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • 6 Tbsp sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1-2 Tbsp Kitchen House ranch seasoning blend
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½-1 tsp garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Make ranch dressing by whisking all ingredients in a bowl until well combined and smooth. Start with 1 Tbsp of dry mix and add more to taste. Consistency can be thicker or thinner depending on the amount of buttermilk used.
  2. Serve as a dip, dressing or condiment. Extras can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
