Lots of people think of chocolate dipped strawberries this time of year. A lighter choice is to DRIZZLE versus DIP fruit in chocolate.

Or even sprinkle with chocolate chips and enjoy with a spoon.

DRIZZLE as best you can. Let the kids help cut, assemble and then drizzle melted chocolate. We find that using a fork dipped in melted chocolate and drizzled on top of fruit works best, allowing for ‘lines’ of chocolate rather than globs. The fruit cups pictured below were drizzled by kids…

A very tasty & sweet treat!

Now, do you have any left over strawberries and melted chocolate?  Make some Valentine Crackers!

Cut a strawberry into a heart and slice off one side to leave you with a flat side.  Dip that side into the melted chocolate and place on a graham cracker square.  Let it cool.  Makes a perfect Valentine to pack, once the chocolate hardens!
