It’s our Countdown to Christmas!  Day 11
 
Here is a no-bake ball recipe for you and your kids.  Make them for a party.  Take them for an afternoon snack pick-me-up.  Lots of nutrition from the dates, coconut, and oats. 
And, of course, it’s chocolate.
 
 
No Bake German Chocolate Balls


1 1/2 packages of whole pitted dates (10oz. package)
1 cup oats
1 cup dried coconut, no added sugar
1 cup dark chocolate chips OR vegan carob chips
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Blend all ingredients in blender.  Roll into balls.
Store in refrigerator or freezer.
