We have some very exciting news!
After sharing space and offering multiple mobile cooking classes and birthday parties for the last 5 years, we now have our own space to Learn. Create. Cook. Taste. At the Kitchen House!
Kitchen House has been a dream come true for owner Leah Smith. When Kids Kitchen was created 5 years ago, we started with one weekly cooking class at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA in Cedar Park. We started with a class for 5-11 year olds and then quickly added a class for 3-6 year olds. After a couple of years, the business and community need grew which turned into multiple classes each week, including locations in Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Georgetown. Soon after that, we added birthday parties to to our ‘menu’ of services. Hosting cooking parties with kids of all ages in their homes and other event spaces. Today, Kids Kitchen teaches 15 different weekly classes (for kids and adults) from South Austin to Georgetown, private classes, birthday parties, and more!
Please visit our new schedule of class offerings at the Kitchen House. We have added during the school day adult cooking classes called Take & Bake. Come cook with us and take home a meal for your family! In addition, we have weekly Thursday evening adult classes, each week featuring a different genre of cooking and rotating professional chef instructors. We will still continue with all our mobile classes but now we can offer regular classes to kids ages 3-15 (and up) each week right here in the North Austin/Cedar Park area.
Kitchen House is conveniently located, just one block off FM 620. We are very close to Lakeline Mall and Hill Country Bible Church. From 620, turn on Blue Ridge, and find us with the Red Front Door at the corner of Blue Ridge and Dandridge.
At this time, we are only open for scheduled appointments and during scheduled classes and events. We offer free tea/coffee and wifi for parents waiting. You can also drop your kids off and do any nearby shopping you need to do!
We can’t wait for you to join us for a cooking class, cooking birthday party, private event (host a baby shower, birthday party, craft night, and more!), tastings, craft classes, and much more.
